About Fibre Works Gallery

 

Fibre Works Gallery has its home at our farm in the community of Bergen, just south of Sundre, Alberta, Canada.  Here in Alberta, the winters are harsh and cold with bitter winds, in the summer the weather can be very hot.  These extremes of weather pose some challenges for animal husbandry but also give us the opportunity to produce world class fibre.

Linda Wendelboe is the
artist and creative talent behind Fibre Works Gallery.  She has had a life-long fascination with the art and craft of hand spun and hand woven fabrics, focusing on rug making and now not only creates her own works, she grows her own sheep and alpaca fleece. 

You know when you own one of Linda's creations, that she had as much enjoyment making it as you will have using it.
